I got a new puppy last week who needs a name, and since everyone on here is so good at naming, I thought I’d ask your opinion…
She’s 11 weeks old and is a german shepherd. Shes really sweet, super smart, but also very spunky. I plan on eventually doing agility with her and need a short (not more than 2 syllables) name that fits her. I have another shepherd whose name is Aster. Right now, I like Bryce best as her name, but Im still not totally sold on that. I don’t know her parents’ names, she was born in a shelter.
You could do Briza, to stay with the plant sort of theme. Or maybe Typha, the genus name for cattails…just because her ears are sort of doing that ‘poof’ thing in the picture, like cattails will.
Hmm, well, if you want to stick with a theme for your dogs “Aster” means star so there’s…
Star, Polaris (too many syllables), Rora (for Aurora)
Would be neat to come up with something star/bright related, but I’m not doing so great thinking of that right now. Sunshine is alright… Shadow could be good (well, that’s anti-bright). Photon? Enh.
Totally adorable puppy, btw. Makes me wish I had time for one.
hmm. cute puppy i’m not horribly good at naming as all my dogs have been in alphabetical order-Aspen, Beau, Cooper, Dooley, Einstein, Featherstone, etc.
awwwwwwwwwww, our dog who has shepard somewhere in her bloodlines, ears used to do that too, but now they are normal. shes a sweetheart.
I like Roxie too, you could also go with movie themed names, like
Rizzo ,
Pinky,
Lara, (croft tomb raider lol)
Juno
Cujo (just kidding)
Tipper (due to ears)
Molly (my daughters input)
Nipper (my daughters input)
Tuffy
Orchid
Maggie (short for magnolia)
Lilly
im sure i can think of lots more its just too early in the AM , lol
