MY NEW STALLION - REAL LIFE!!

Okay, just thought I would

share photos of my new stallion, Wild N Cool.

Like anyone knows Appaloosa bloodlines,

but he’s sired by Coolest Hustler (by Coolest) out of Miss Kitty West (by Wild West).

He is a SWEET boy!! Much better than Mack in every way. And Mack is a soon to be

GELDING!!! Never thought I’d even have him gelded, muchless be HAPPY about it!

Here are

the photos (they’re not the best, still awaiting all the professional

photos!):

Oh and that is NOT his real

tail!! IT’S A GOOD FAKE ONE!!!

hahaha i was going to ask

about the tail…he’s so cute! i dont know much about appaloosas, but he’s nice to look at

He is a very very nice

looking appaloosa stallion. Excellent coloring I like the snowcap appaloosas should produce

some nice color. I especially love his head and the nice refinement on it with and also the

nice big jaw

Very pretty!!

Does it make me weird that I

like how in the first picture it looks like he’s butt-less? Very impressive how clean he

is! But he’s cute  Congrats (and yay for being happy abt gelding your old one? I guess?)

Nah, I liked that, too. And

in the second one it looks like his neck is either REALLY long or it’s just broken at the

withers, to be at that type of angle.

Definitely a cute boy, though.

How old is your stallion?

 Helps when I read the

caption to your annoucement.
He’s a handsome boy.

Yeah,

the tail is totally fake. Don’t get me wrong, he has a long tail, but it’s not that thick.

I bet I could get it thicker with lots of care, but right now I’m not in the show mode so

I’m not messing with the tail. LOL.

He is easy to look at though. And sweet as he can

ever be!

Thank you for your comments!!

Yes, much better than

the one I have now, that’s for sure!

And yes, he should produce some nice coloring.

So far he’s produced 2 babies who have some spots over the hips and that’s it. One’s a

chestnut and ones a black. I’m currently trying to get photos of both!!

He has a

really nice head. And HUGE jaw!!! Nice long neck, CLEAN throatlatch. Even right now, while

I’m feeding Strat (which ALWAYS makes a halter neck ugly) his neck has stayed clean and the

throatlatch is SUPER clean. I can’t even imagine what it’s going to look like when he’s

fit!

Thank you for your wonderful comments!!

THANK YOU!!!

Yeah, a lot of photographer haven’t learned how to get different

back ground for photographing Appaloosas. You want them gleaming white for the show ring,

but geez, when you shoot against a white back ground, especially at a 3/4 shot like that, the

blanket just blends!!! And if you profile one like Cool it just looks worse.

To keep him

clean is going to take a lot of whitening shampoo, lots of stain remover and a prayer

everyday and night. LOL. Not to mention keeping him in blankets, legs wrapped up to the

knees/hocks and threatening him if he lays in pooh. LOL.

Yeah, I’m gelding Mack. I’ve

been hurt one too many times by him. I had really hoped he’d be my stallion, but he has

made it VERY clear he doesn’t want to be stalled up, doesn’t want to be shown, and doesn’t

want to be messed with. So that means he doesn’t want to be a stallion. LOL. It’s the

way it works around here!!

Just wait till my CPA get a load of this one. I can hear it

now…

Thank you for your comments!

Nadia

His neck is broken,

darn you found out

Actually he has a nice long neck, but they were using a stick horse

for those photos and he was trying to look around to see it and touch noses with it. LOL.

He’s too much sometimes!

Yes, he’s cute, but I’m bias

Thanks

Shanthi!!

Thank you very much! He really is. I can’t wait to get him fit and

shown again!!

Contrary to popular belief, I

know more about stock horses than I want to know. And in my

opinon he’s an awesome stud! He’s nice and stocky, I like his conformation. And I love his

coloring. Good luck keeping him clean ^-^ I hope he isnt a big time roller like some horses.

Good luck with him in the show ring!

Well actually he’s not really that bad of a roller. And even though he’s been in mud up to

his knees before (his idea, not mine, I was horrified when he walked in it too) he actually

stays pretty clean. But I’m sure that’s mostly because he’s wearing a blanket that hangs

down to his knees and hocks!

However I have invested thousands into QuikSilver and many

other whitening shampoos so I’m sure that if a stain comes up I will be able to battle

it!

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. I’m actually going to be showing him

in less than a month at Dixie Nationals and then heading right to Waco, TX for a show there.

So 7 judges in 2 days. WHEW won’t it be a trip!

Nadia
