hey guys-- so I am now on the other side of pregnancy! My little one was born on Jan 16th, at 2:28am. I went through nearly exactly 24 hours of labour and contractions and only 20 mins of a very intense delivery. Abygael Rose was 6 pounds and 13 ounces and measuring 21 and 1/4 inches long. She was very healthy, she is very sound sleeper (thanks to her dad LOL) and gorgeous (and I am not usually one to ‘oogle’ over babies, LOL). We just got home today and it’s really starting to set in now that I have a daughter.
Ok here’s the tricky part…getting the photos to work. I am going to try to link my facebook album on here…just a tad easier, LOL, I don’t care if you see my hubby or family members.
actually I am surprised with myself- I never loved children but I look at her and just can’t get enough! I just want to hold her and love to just be with her. Even if she was one of those ‘ugly’ babies (and you guys know what I mean, LOL), I would still think she is the most beautiful girl in the world. I just love knowing that everyone else sees it too, cuz she is gorgeous!
She loves her daddy- cuz I was exhausted after 24 hours of labour, he was the one to give her her first feedings. She now eats better for him, than for me, which is ok- I can work on it and she is getting better. And Daddy is wrapped around her finger as much as I am- came home today, sat in our apartment and within 15 minutes he was itching to go up the hall to my mom’s to see her, LOL!

I’m like you, Kayte, kids were never my… thing. HA! I don’t even know how to change a diaper. My mom was the same way, but she said when its your own kid… it’s an entire world of difference. July cannot come fast enough
