My Champion...

Watch out, Afleet Alex, there is a new sheriff in town. Okay, well maybe I’m getting a tiny bit carried away.

This is my champion, I bought him for $500 on May 7th where he was beaten 52 lengths for $3,000 claimers. Two months off and his second race back he won in a gallop.

Name: Desert Paran
Age: 5
Height:16.3
Wins: 5?
Hobbies: Eating

Saturday, July 23
Race 10
6 furlongs 22.80, 46.40, 58.80, 1:12.20
He won by 5 lengths in a gallop, here are the comments.
DESERT PARAN progressed from inside, waited for room on the turn, got through two wide nearing the quarter pole, soon took over, drew off in the stretch under mostly hand urging and was under wraps in the waning yards.

Thats your real horse? :o:O He’s awesome looking!

Yep, my baby, I like to refer to him as “The Beast” because he is so big, but he is an absolute sweetheart.

I absolutely adore bays! What are his lines?

He is by Lil E Tee out of Limbo Dance(Best Turn).

nice horse. do you have full ownership of him or do you train him???

Lucky! A relative of mine owns the BEST breeding farm in Kentucky, and I have free reign of the farm, but it’s not as good as having areal racer!

both

Where do you train/race him?

is he the only horse you train or do you train a lot of horses. Good luck with him hope he does well for you.

He races in IL right now. Poor horse has been all over the country, including South Dakota, Kansas City, Oaklawn, Hawthorne, and Kentucky. His next race is the 16th if I remember right.

We have 19 right now, but he is the barn mascot. We had a filly win the same day and she ran the fastest 6 furlongs of the meeting, and nobody got in her picture because everyone was at the barn with Desert.

what track does he race at?

He races at Fairmount Park right now. Here is his win pic.

You can get an idea for how big he is, my mom is holding him and 5’5", and she looks like a midget.

he is huge! Good luck with him. I just bought a racehorse for $500 today also. She hasn’t done to well be we’ll give her off for a year then start her up again next year. She got beat about 10 lengths last time out at Penn National for claiming $7500
