I’ve been obsessively checking my mares every day since the start of December (and praying that they’d hold on till January 1st, lol), and logged in this morning to discover Playskool had foaled early. Not by much, but a little bit. This was her first foal, we honestly expected her to be late instead, guess she felt she’d held on long enough.

Came on tonight to discover another foal! This one’s about 4 days early, so maybe all of my mares will take the hint that on time or slightly early is the way to go this year. <.< I can dream right? XD

Thanks Shanti! I’m excited about that one! I have another Cigar granddaughter who did really well for me, made it to GCh before she started slacking, so I’m hoping that that cross will give me another like Strike Out.
I thought these two would keep their legs crossed forever. Penny Lane and Willya B Mine have both finally given birth. I have tos tart getting ready for work, but when I get home, I’ll post in a bit more detail.
Completely forgot to come back and post about my newest babies until I wound up with another one. Lol. And apparently, in looking at my new foals, Alley Cat was a popular stud for me last year. XD 4 out of 5 foals are by Alley Cat.
Playskool has been bred to Black Light II and is due 2/1. Willya B Mine has been bred to Slip In The Mud and is due 1/31. Almost Daybreak foaled a lot earlier than she was supposed to, so now I’m gonna take a bit of time to plan out who to breed her to.
