FINALLY got my first filly of the year. 
I leased a broodmare from Gust O’ Wind last year, and she’s given me a gorgeous new filly. I’ve also just noticed she shares a grandsire with my newest broodie who was my very best racer for a couple of years, Strike Out. She was born yesterday, but I was out of town all weekend, so I missed it.

Thanks Shanti! I was so nervous about her, even though I figured I’d luck out and lightning wouldn’t strike twice, but still, couldn’t help but be leery of it.
I’m thinking I’m going to have to go through all my foals this year and pick and choose who gets gelded and who gets sold. It’s gonna be hard cause I’ve got so many gorgeous babies.

Ozilda’s Honor foaled this morning. She was a bit early, and her foal is one of my smaller ones, but he’s still a good size. Yes. That’s right. He. Another colt.

What about Royal Sunshine. As Soleil means Sun in French
I actually named her right after I posted that. I had been debating on two different names, and settled on Kingdom of the Sun, since it ties both her parents’ names in there.
