So the Derby run next weekend. Very exciting as always! Thought it would be good to see who we are sending.
My personal favorite for the Derby is [color=blue]Von Lichtenstein. I think he’s just too good at the moment. The crack 2YOs from last season don’t seem to have really fired this year.
I’m still chasing a Derby win and am sending two this year.
[color=red]Kowhai is probably my best shot. She’s won six stakes this year with her major wins being the Caulfield Guineas (Gr.1), Las Virgenes Stakes (Gr.1) and the UAE Derby (Gr.2). Her form into this is okay - she was third last start in the Louisville Breeders’ Cup (Gr.2), however, prior to that she didn’t fire finishing ninth in the Wood Memorial (Gr.1). I’m hopeful she’ll place.
[color=blue]Busker is my second entry. He’s won two stakes this year - the Robinson Stakes (Gr.2) and Ming Dynasty Cup (Gr.3). His next best was a second placing behind Kowhai in the UAE Derby (Gr.2). His form into this isn’t fantastic - last start he was seventh in the Louisville Breeders’ Cup (Gr.2) and prior to that ninth in the Santa Anita Derby (Gr.1). I think this will be a big ask for him, however, he does have a good record over longer races.
I agree with Jason that [color=blue]Von Lichtenstein looks the best on paper.
We won’t have any runners in it since our best 3YO prospects are both Turf horses and the Derby is run on Dirt. We’re going to focus on the English and Irish Classics since they are run on Turf.

My star 2yos from last year have been mostly disappointments this year. Sigh.
I am going to throw in Lonely Victor; I’ll be happy with even just a 3rd place effort since it look likes it’s going to be a classy crowd. I think he’ll be my first Derby contender, but this is mostly because I realized I paid the nomination fee so he should at least get a bite at the apple.
Von Lichtenstein looks good. I wonder if we can get a TC winner this year.
My best bet was my Nightfight filly Nightlit Haze , but she had been off her form until her last race, so we won’t be sending any again this year. She will prob. run the mother goose and Alabama stakes instead.
No entries for me, all mine either prefer turf, sprints, or hate stakes races. 
A TC winner would be awesome! It’s been forever since we’ve had one.
I’ll be sending Sponsored of course. He beat I’m No Fool and Von L this year.
None for me, most my runners are turf or Steeplechase. That and I forgot to nominate, whoops! haha, next year maybe 
Sponsored does looks really nice, so does Von Lichtenstein. Kowhai has been running well as well, though she seems like running 3rd against Sponsored and Von Lich. So yeah, those are my top 3 picks

I’m not picking an order of finish (because you all know who I would pick first but it’s going to be a tight race between Von Lich, Sponsored and Kowhai.
Going to be interesting to see if anyone can score the 3yo TC victory this year although Von Lich did win the 2yo crown last year.
