I’ve read the official from when it was first introduced but looking for information on experiences. . I’ve used the jump trial feature on a few of my horses just to get a feel if they might like being a chaser better than flat racer. For some of you more experienced players have you found the times and jockey comments reliable, have you switched a flat racer to SC with success based on the information? What time range/comment do you look for before switching to SC races?

For me, if the trial times are in the 2:20’s or lower the horse has usually turned out to be a decent jumper. Anything in the 2:30’s+ I don’t think are worth switching. It can still go either way and I usually look at the pedigree as well (SC sire? Dam? What have half-sibs done?). I am also more willing to switch over total failure runners vs. flat runners who are doing okay but not great.
