Thanks I think she’s cute!
Very sweet, good luck with her
Cute name.
Finally another one, looks like the boys are ahead of the girls! I am happy this one made it safely 1day late, one of Lairds last crop, introducing…

By-GCh. Highland Laird (S) (Highland Rogue (G) x Created)
Out of-Charlene (S) (Charlemagne (S) x Graceful Exit (S))
His sire (Laird / chef de race)certainly needs no introduction, I’m extremely pleased to get a colt from his last crop. It looks like he ran dirt fairly well the excelled as a chaser.of course rogue needs no intro.
His dam I bought because I own her dam and she’s been an awesome producer, and has a bit of a rare pedigree, his damsire Charlemagne had only 13 foals/12winners/5 5takes Winners/1 MSW. His grandam Graceful Exit has produced 11 foals/9 racing-winners/3 stakes winners/2 MSWs/& 1 millionaire.
He is 1/2 to ch.charlotte(f),ch.Charlie brown(g), and stakes placed Cassandra (f)
Charlene is off to see Alley Cat for her 2017 foal.

Cute baby. Can you do me (a grammar geek) a favour and add an apostrophe to his name? It should be Laird’s Legacy.
Sure no problem I wasn’t sure which side it went on so I left it out, I figured someone would tell me thanks!
If the subject doesn’t end in an s (which Laird doesn’t), you add ‘s to the end (Laird’s). If it does end in an s, you just add a ’ (Slew O’Scots’ Baby). (Though I guess there’s debate about that, so you could also do Slew O’Scots’s Baby, but that looks like a lot of Ss to me )
Lol yeah that was always the worst part in English for me was that apostrophe, I knew someone would know! I appreciate it. I know they debate some of the oddest things. I just hope he turns into a monster on the track!
I just looked and he’s almost the spitting image of his sire! Just he has a star/stripe instead of star/snip I hope he has his talent!
Congrats on the Charlene foal! I bought her mid-way through her 3yo season, and bred her first three foals. Still have Laird’s Legacy’s full sister, hopefully she’ll turn out to be a monster and he can follow in her footsteps! Charlene’s shaping up to be a pretty nice broodmare so far!
I hope so i bought her because I own her dam who’s been a great producer! And her sire had so few foals it’s a rare line.
Charlemagne had only 13 foals and almost all successful.
He’s a cutie! Nice, unique bloodlines too, i’ve never heard of Charlemagne but he produced some pretty nice foals! Good luck with him
stunning colt, a fitting name too
Finally the running them around the pasture threat worked, two dropped their foals while I was having supper. One of each so introducing the 2 newest additions to Iron Spurs Stable …

By-ICh. Worth The Wait (S) (What’s It Worth (G) x Rise and Shine (S))
Out of-Ch. Sahara Desert (Seabuiscuit (S) x Amazon Princess (S))
His sire of course needs no introduction A dirt monster(he’s produced 70 foals,35 racers, 28 winners,4 stakes winners, and 1 MSW), this gives him a chance to be an all rounder,Of course he’s out of what’s it worth(chef de race)Who’s produced an astounding 127 foals,125 racers,121 winners,71 stakes winners,47 MSWs and 37 millionaires!, and the (reine de course) rise and shine, who was unraced but produced 10 foals, 9 winners,3 stakes,2MSWs, and 1 millionaire.
His dam I bought because I like thats she’s by seabicuit (who produced 83 foals,79 racers,69 winners, 19 SWs,8 MSWs, and 6 milionaires)and out of amazon princess (who produced 13 foals,12 racers,9 winners,2 Sws,2 MSWs,andd 2milionaires) she did fairly well on the Turf, didnt really care for dirt. This is ner first foal, and both made it through safe and sound.
Sahara Desert has a date with Carrowmore for her 2017 foal
And next a cute filly

her sire is new and his first crop hits the track this spring, here’s hoping it’s a good match.
Her dams first foal hits the track this spring too, this filly came to me in utero from the railbird auction, he had some good instincts so I’m hoping this little girl is talented! Her dam was lightly raced but was equally good on dirt and turf, so she could like anything.
California Concept had a date with our stud Gilded Saint for her 2017 foal
