Sorry for the unexpeted hiatus, everyone. There’s a funny story behind it.
My internet was down since last Friday night, and the Comcast people were supposed to come out Thursday night (6 days later) to fix it. My mother gets home at 5:30 pm, usually, so she asked them to come no earlier than 5:30 so that I wouldn’t be alone with the service people. I saw their truck parked outside our neighbors’ house at 4:45 pm. Turns out they went to their house, left, and called to say we weren’t home. :x :lol:
So my mother got on the phone and very gently assured them that they did not want to make us wait another week to get the internet fixed. 
My mother is a scary lady, so they agreed to come today (Saturday) to fix it. I’m over my father’s house now, though.
And as another interesting note, our dryer caught fire last Saturday. The new one we ordered will take two weeks to get here. It seems as though everything in my house is breaking! :lol:
So yeah, I’m back!
