How'd you do for the year?

Hi All,
Figured I’d start

this thread again, seeing as it was popular last year and was pretty interesting. Anywho,

feel free to add to it!

Here’s how Cascade fared for the year:

This Year
Races:

135
Wins: 10 (7%)
Places: 15 (11%)
Shows: 13 (10%)
Fourths: 22 (16%)
Earnings:

$2,624,500

Pretty pathetic, especially compared to the wonderful 2006(which was

probably our best year yet!). But 2007 was still bearable, would have liked more wins though.

Oh shush! That is a really

good record!! Makes me look like minced meat! lol
Well this was my first full year!!!

Yay!!! I’m so excited!! I’m was also one of the lucky NB’s that got a G1 winner in her

first 2 sim months. Not bad huh? I’m gonna go ahead and give my over all too since I

started in like oct. of 2006…lol…i won’t look so pathetic that way.

oh well. if you look at my stable, i

dont have many horses…so that may be an explanation! you know what that means…i have to

buy more horses! yay! that should be pretty easy!

As you can see, a nice win percentage and earning level, mostly due to

Mistake’s upset in the Derby. If you look below you’ll see we did about the same as over

all. Slightly less earnings this year than last, but no Triple Crown winner’ll do that to

you..

On the breeding end of the spectrum, you can see we have a quite

reasonable winning percentage with 5/6ths of racers we bred having gotten a win at one point

or another. Obviously I’d like to see the SW # go up a bit, but I certainly can’t complain

about how much money our foals have earned for their various owners. Just under 18 million!

(Shanthi, is that for 06/07 or all years?)

Yeah, most of my foals tend

to win. Think the only ones so far that haven’t won at least one race are the 2yos.

WTW seems to hate ISI. I

personally think it’s because of the apostrophe in our name. I’m sure our records leading

up to the switch would be a WHOLE lot better! (BTW, it would be awesome to have the old

records added but that’s just to make ISI look better. lol) Anyway, here ya

go…

Better on money and wins this year than last, but I need to

get my horses into stakes races… My one homebred who raced this year needs to mature

(Moonover Boy foal), so hopefully my 2005 crop and all foals stats will improve next year!

Yeah, well, can’t do

training stats prior to '06 b/c we don’t know who owned all the horses during each race .

And maybe ATW will like you more, Bridgette. I’m pretty sure it’s going to hate me.
