Arrived at the barn to see Annie snorting and acting all upset. My first thought was, “You silly horse! It’s just snow!” Lots of snow… haha… she kept staring at the opposite side of the paddock and into the neighbors backyard. For the longest time, I couldn’t figure out what was she was so worried about. Then I saw them…
When I first read “horse eating deer,” I thought it was a picture of deer actually eating a horse o.o My bad… lol What an awful thought. I feel like such a bad person for thinking that. I was so glad after I reread it five times and saw the pictures that they were just innocent spectators! Your horse is adorable. I’m loving the blaze.
Weather reports keep saying snow, but then they change them five minutes later to thunderstorms. I can’t wait for snow. I don’t care if we don’t get snow days; as long as I have a white Christmas, I’ll be happy!
Yeah, we definitely got snow Between 6-12 inches depending on where you are in IL. Here’s a picture to show you how deep it got. This is ROO’s dog Suzy, and she’s standing up:
Aw, cute horses, and so funny about the deer! My horses got really excited one time about a “horse eating” pig who had escaped from our barns and was living down by the creek over the summer. When it snowed and the creek froze, she slipped under the fence and was drinking under their water tank! We caught her and gave her a stall of her own, but Pack would still stand and snort at her all day. It was too funny. I also wish we had snow- Minnesota is supposed to be the land of ice and snow, but all we have is bitter cold!
What a pretty picture of the deer Sarah. I wish I had been there early enough to see them. Annie and Moose on the other hand are not so pretty covered in their winter woolies and dirty of course.
We got a LOT of snow on Thursday night. All the schools were closed down… some of the private schools announced that they were closed the night before. At the dog park the snow drifts were pretty high. Sarah and I had a good time throwing the smaller 3 of 5 dogs into the drifts.
I used to ride my friends horse, Doll and she’d be like “OH MY GOD! A LEAF JUST TURNED OVER! I’M GONNA DIIIIIIIIE!!!” Buck, buck. Gallop… lol. Another one of my friends has a horse named Sierra whose terrified of noise. It’s really funny.
