I wish horses for sale didnt sell until. After race day if entered I had 2 in and they sold right before racing and of course placed :/ just my luck .lol
If I have a horse For Sale that I am entering in a race, I tend to remove it from sale, then place it back up for sale after the race. It means a little more work but reduces the chance of this happening (having said that, I had two horses entered recently that I forgot to remove from sale before they ran, and they both sold the day before they were due to race - one won and the other was 2nd = LOL).
Blame me. If I see a horse for sale super cheap in a race and I have a deep gut feeling it’s going to do awesome, I buy it. (maybe that’s why I’m broke, LOL). Bought 2 yesterday and they both brought home paychecks.
Best grab I’ve had lately was a stakes horse for sale for $40k a few weeks ago. She came in 2nd and brought me $50k. Not a bad immediate return

Yes. That was one of the two I mentioned in my earlier post. LOL! I’m sure that she’ll earn you many more paychecks like that.
