I’m all excited so I decided to tell those of you who care why! 
My dad met an actual pro trainer by chance and told him about my horse. The guy came out to see what we meant by calling him the Mauler with the intentions of having us hire his little mexican person to train.
(that wasn’t mean as racist, the guy is mexican and he’s very short. don’t flame me 
Anyhow, he came out and played with my colt and almost got his head kicked off and decided that he would personaly train my horse. For free. He said that he absolutely loved my little colt, mean as he was, and wanted to prove a point to everyone that he could be trained. So hey, I’m not complaining. He’s going to come out every other week until Mauler is gentlemanly and anyone can ride him. And after that, if I stil have to sell him, he’s got an endurance rider buddy who probably would like him. Yay!
Congrats, that sounds like a great setup. 
And just as a general note,
This could be phrased as “his assistant”, “his colleague”, or “someone he knows”. (Or, if you’re going uber-detailed/PC, “his vertically challenged colleague of hispanic descent” 
)

Haha, that is true. It’s starting to be a bit of a joke between my friends and I though. It seems every barn that you go to has a little hispanic helper, usualy mexican. In fact, I even saw a commercial on RFDTV where some lady was getting her horse out and had a short little spanish guy opening and closing doors for her >.<
But that’s a bit off subject.
