Holy Cow. O.O

Someone just offered me 100k for my yearling filly, [color=red]Highland Aloria (by Highland Wizard out of Out and About by About That).

I’m not really sure what to do. If someone thinks she’s worth that much, she may be of some value n the racetrack or in the breeding barn. But she may just turn out to be a dud. Someone who has been playing longer than me and is wiser, give me advice. Please.

No particular advice to give (since I’m biased as I bred her and owner her sire), but yay for the Highland Wizard love!

A yearling is a crap shoot wonderful breeding or not. The question you have to answer is how bad do you need /want the money, and if you believe in her how long can you wait for the potential to come to fruition. In my first year I turned down $500k for a brood mare I bought for 15k. I think Jason still has a dent in his chest where his jaw hit. It’s  little bit different with a yearling, but it all comes down to what you expect from the horse. By the way I still have the mare

I think I will take it. Thanks guys. ^.^
