I am Imagine. I came over from EI. I am waiting to get accepted onto the game. It looks and sounds like a lot of fun.
About me… I’m 16, female, from upstate New York. I do not own a horse, but I do ride. I’m currently looking at a Thoroughbred bay mare to buy. I’m going to try her out tomorrow after my lesson. Woot!
Welcome! You’ll have a great time in this game. Whereabouts in upstate do you live? I’m in upstate NY also, which is why I ask, it’s fun to see people who are from my area!
Welcome! I’m Amy and I’m currently waiting to join this awesomeful site too. I live on a Thoroughbredhorse farm in Northern California with 9 broodmares, 6 foals, 2 stallions, 3 racers and my own gelding, On the Edge of Reason (Edge). Good luck getting your horse.
Welcome to the game! This is the most realistic game I’ve ever played, and don’t let the waiting list intimidate you. Not only is the game worth it, I was supposed to join in February next year and I actually joined late July. So it’s not as long as you may think.
you will love the game!!! I was supposed to get accepted in april, NEXT YEAR!! I got accepted a week ago! that was only 5 days after I got on the waiting list!you will love the game
5 days after you applied for the game? That’s not fair. I was s’posed to get accepted in April of 2007, too, and I still haven’t gotten accepted. I’ve been waiting for, like, 2 weeks now.
I hope so. I don’t see why we have to wait, anyhow. I just really want to play. I only play one other SIM horse game. I love it, but I do want something new. -sigh-
Believe it or not, we didn’t just make up the waiting list to torture people. Those of us who were here before the game really starting booming, and even those who had been on a waiting list, but have been here for a while, really apreciate the small community feeling of the game. We voted on the idea, and on the size of the list. None of us want to have a place like Horseland where you can’t get help and you don’t know anyone. None of us want to be swamped with names that we can’t place. We all want to feel like a close community. And we do. That is the reason behind the waiting list and once you join, I’m sure you’ll understand why we want to preserve that feeling for this game.
That’s very true. Horseland can’t even function correctly because it’s overloaded. But, I dunno… I’ve always hated waiting lists. Until I actually got on. Haha. But, waiting lists may discourage people from joining. I wasn’t going to join because of it, but my friend insisted that I did. Also, say that I get accepted in December… looooooooooong ways off. I may not even be interested by then because I had waited so long. I have low patience.
But, anyway… I’ve got to go check on my laundry. Am going away this weekend to train horses. See you all Monday!
