Happy Retirement, Belanso!

Last week, our favorite stallion, Belanso, was sent to the retirement pasture. He served us well, and a life of leisure and endless carrots is more than deserved. Belanso joined Denoux Stud in 2021 after we won him from The Grey Stable auction for a steal at $53,000. He has 22 foals due for 2027, and most recently had a 2yo stakes winner today!

Really sad to see him go; he was a personal favorite (and one of the few created stallions at stud). In addition to Iberis mentioned in your list, we own 3 2yos (2 winners), 3 yearlings, and 2 weanlings.

Really hate seeing him retire. We bread to him often, at least he has left an amazing Legacy.

Sorry to see him go. He was a solid stallion. I still own many of his offspring, the most notable of which being Kyoko. She had her first foal, a filly by Powerful Soul, this year. She is currently in foal to Tense Imagination. Hoping she carries the legacy on well through her foals.

Sadly, we lost Belanso last night. We’re still holding out hope for a qualified son! We have a few prospects, and his youngest crop are yearlings this year.
