Graduation and Beyond

Well this past weekend has been super busy… I show three different species of animals… Mini Rex Rabbits, German Shepherd Dogs and Arabian, NSH, Saddlebred Horses… Sat was a double open show for the rabbits… and one of my Sr. Bucks granded this weekend… I was so psyched…

Sat night was also Graduation… and I already knew what was going to happen… but it was still such a thrill! during presentation of awards and scholarships it was announced I had a full academic scholarship to Baylor!!! OMG!! can you believe that? and I had a full week to think about it before grad… I still cried… Looks like I’m spending at least the first 4 years of premed in TX… then who knows… I’ll be leaving this coming Sat for TX… although classes don’t start till end of August… I have a huge Arabian show in TX just before I start collage… so my mom and I are driving her out to one of the trainers out there and I’m staying with my Aunt in Houston so I can also train… then she will be moved to a barn closer to Baylor and  will have her to relax with… I’m sure she’s the one thing that will keep me sane…

Alot of stuff is going on in the next few weeks… I’m not sure I’ll be on as much as before… but I’ll try to… Woohoo what a night!

Congratulations!  Sounds like it was just about the perfect weekend for you.

Congrats!  Good luck dealing with the heat/climate of TX summers.  I hope the move/training/settling in goes well for you.

Congrats, sounds like you had a great weekend!   I’d type a bit more, but it’s all one-handed right now because my crazy dog is laying backwards on my right arm.  :stuck_out_tongue:

Congrats and good luck in your new home.  Hope your mare settles in good and that you guys do well in your upcoming show.

Keep us posted.

That’s so wonderful that you have a full scholarship! Congratulations on that and your showing achievement.
