Speaking of the horses, I’ve received a few private messages regarding their futures.  I’ve decided to give them away.  I was planning on having it go like this: each member that wants one can have a maximum of two horses.  Unfortunately, I don’t have enough racehorses to go around, so I’ll have to ask that everyone only requests one.  But feel free to take two non-racers.  After one month I’ll donate all the other horses to FF.

I think I made that very complicated.  Oh, and first-come, first-served, so PM/email me quickly!

Attention Members:

I am officially rescinding this deal for the following reasons:
1 - when members quit, all horses are officially transferred to FF ownership
2 - this offer favored people who happened to be online at the right time
3 - this offer was not announced with enough time to allow members to plan to be online

Final Furlong will take ownership of all SRF horses, and will likely auction them later on this year.

Virginia - sorry to rain on your parade like this, but the game needs to remain fair/equal opportunity/etc.

Note: I have received numerous angst-y e-mails/PMs over this situation.

The statement on quitting clearly states that

When you quit, you revoke all claims to your Final Furlong horses, stable, money, awards, breedings, etc. All horses revert to Final Furlong ownership, and all stable records are deleted immediately.

If you don’t like it, don’t quit.  (Or do!  ) 

If I receive (m)any more angsty/whiny communications, I will have FF retain permanent ownership of all horses in question, and not be nice and auction them.  (Let alone be super-nice, as I was considering prior to all this angst, and “auction” the horses with a max price of $50,000 each.)
