Foaled in 1996 and never raced, Take Account is Silver (7.3) ranked and Reine-de-Course (I) 7/6 are winners (2 SW - 2 MSW - 1 SP - 2 Millionaires)
In her lifetime she has produced 11 foals starting in 2001 with Distinctive Look sired by Distinct Possibili. Unraced Distinctive Look is Gold (9.0) ranked. 5/5 foals to race have been winners (2 SW - 1 MSW - 2 SP)
Foaled in 2005 ICh. Take Me Away sired by Cigar and may be entering stud in 2014. His track record speaks for him.

Foaled in 2006 the gelding GCh. Hollywood Magic sired by Planet Hollywood. His track record is also impressive. Now retired and living a life of leisure in the FF pastures.

We bought Take Account at the Storybook Farm dispersal sale, at the time she was heavely in foal to Ch. Irish River. a few short weeks after the sale she went into labor and the foal was presenting breach, the vet was called and after several hours we had a lovely filly. We decided at that time to retire Take Account from brood and let her enjoy her last foal whom we named Semi-Charmed.
Take Account was enjoying her retirement, but when we weaned Semi-Charmed she became depressed and went off feed. Mid October of this year she was found in her paddock laying down and refusing to get up. Again the vet was called, and the diagnoses was post partem depression complicated by melanoma cancer in her uterus. We decided to end her suffering that day.
Take Account is burried at the head of the broodmare pasture with a stone and a plaque denoting her contribution to the Thoroughbred breed.
Although we had her less than a year, Take Account graced Battle Hill Farm with her beauty and elegance, and left behind her final Legacy with Semi-Charmed, we are both proud and humbled to have had the chance to take care of this great mare.
Gone but never forgotten.
