I know what it is like with an overdue mare. We have one mare who was due on the 8th and we are still waiting. Hopefully, she will foal before the end of this month, so she can be bred again for next year.
It’s a funny game, this. We started this year hoping that a couple of our broodmares would keep their legs crossed long enough to have their foals on or after Jan 1st. Now, we’re hoping that one of our broodmares will hurry up and have her foal on or before July 31st.
