Would there be a way to collapse the side menu so we can see more of the page? Right now not everything shows up and I’m finding it really difficult to use the site.
Thanks for getting entries set up!

It’s on my list already, just haven’t had time to figure out how to do it properly.
This is looking great and, once I’ve got the hang of how everything is done, I think it’ll be so much better than the old app.
One question. I’ve noticed that when I look at horses now, their birthdates are no longer 4 years in the future like on the old app. Does that mean that from now on everything will be in real time and not real time +4 years? That will be great. There have been numerous occasions when I’ve been working on FF, paused to deal with Real Life and had to stop myself from writing the date 4 years in the future.
Yes, I think I’ve mentioned that before. I haven’t dealt with budget stuff, so old budget descriptions still reference +4 years, but I’ll fix that eventually.
This is done. The side menu will display as icons by default (you can hover over them to see the titles), or you can click the little >> in the top bar (before the logo) to expand the menu.
On mobile you’ll click the >> to get to the menu.
<< Close Menu (at the top) will collapse the menu, or it will collapse when you go to a new page.
Hopefully it’s decent, it took a lot of fiddling to get right. I do plan multiple site layouts eventually.
A way to mark all notifications as read and a way to delete all would be very helpful!
Quick question. I’ve noticed under horse actions an option to ‘transfer to Final Furlong’. Does that mean we can/will be able to offload some horses to FF in the future?
If by “in the future” you mean now, then yes.
This existed in the old app, too.
Note that, as it says in the confirm dialog, FF pays you $0 for the horse. But I find it quite handy for older racehorses that I’m just not feeling like racing anymore, or mares that could be broodmares but I don’t want their foals. So I’ll retire them to broodmare and then immediately transfer to FF so that, hypothetically, they could have babies or be sold at auction at some point.
Cool. I may have a few that could be moved on that way.
