My filly by Nightfight , Nightlit Haze, is 3 times out with 1-2-3 place finishes, shes next up in her first stakes race.
Pretty lil angel by I’m you angel has run 3 times and has finished 0/0/1/1
Wishing on Sunday by as you wish has been out 2 times with 0/0/1/0
The chance 2 dance by high chances has been out 2 times with 0/0/0/1
Blood diamond by dark continent has been out 2 times with 0/0/0/1
A couple others have come home with a 5th place check.
Dark Continent’s filly, Pride Lands, is doing pretty fantastically in my humble opinion. Out of four starts, one of which was a stakes race, she has won three (including her stakes) and ran second in her only defeat to date. She’s done very well on both dirt and turf so far, and will be going in another dirt stakes race on Saturday. I’m very happy with this filly, and very happy I sent a mare to him for 2016.
I’m really pleased, too, with how DC has been doing. Granted, I own two of his four winners, both of which are out of fantastic mares–so my impression is probably skewed.
Timbuktu (first foal of Ch. Notanotherhighland) won his first and only time out. He goes out again on the 21st, so we’ll see if that win was a fluke.
Ask Directions (first foal of Ask DNA) is unplaced after an abysmal first start. We’ll see how she likes the turf.
Lonely Victory (out of gold-rated mare Lone Star) has won 2 of 4 starts and come in 2nd. Only time out of the money was a start on the turf.
Cricket-bred, Windward-owned Hoppin’ Harry came in 4th out of his only start. Same with Cricket-bred, Iron Springs-owned Blood Diamond; 4th out of two starts.
I’m not sure what to make of HC’s sophomore crop, but I’m telling myself they’re a bunch of late bloomers.
CDS is pleased to announce Nightfight reached the rating of Silver after last saturdays races. His highlights include:
Filly, Glow In The Dark (owned by Clover Springs)
Winner of the Kentucky Breeders Cup.
and Filly, Black Star (CDS Owned) finished 3rd in the same race.
Key Biscuit (CDS bred/Lockiedo owned) continues his undefeated streak by winning the Norfolk Stakes.
Nightfight now has 10 winners of 17 racers.
Vivian Leigh by Alley Cat broke her maiden and
Pretty liL Angel by I’m your angel broke her maiden
Still figuring out most of the other babies ,my Nightfight filly didn’t seem to care for the stakes race she was in last her only time out of the money so far.
Well done Holly! Might have to get in early for a few spots for next year!
