Galaxy’s Zodiac will have his first full year, and Drum Major and Changeling ( half to Candidate and Highland Magic) will be sent to make babies Drummy will have a limited number of public breedings available this year, since I have a mare army waiting for him of my own.
Yay! Love Drum Major and glad to see Changeling heading to stud. (Even if I’m regretting selling him now!)
I may be retiring GCh. Ace of Hearts to stud.

I will run him in a few starts in the beginning of the year, if he runs well i’ll keep him running, if not he’ll retire. He’ll be turning 6 in the new year so he’s getting up there, however, he was a late bloomer with his 5yo year being his best yet. So he is a ‘maybe’. He is by Highland Magic and out of Blazin’ Hearts (Brazen Remark)
Technically he’s not. I mean, yes, he is, but you only count horses as half-siblings if they’re out of the same dam. He’s “by the same sire” as Spock. Since stallions can have so many offspring, the “selling power”, as it were, of a stallion is much lower than that of a mare. You could breed two massively different quality mares to Highland Magic and, while both foals would be related to Spock (and Ace of Hearts, etc), one might be a MSW if his dam was amazing on the track whereas the other one could flop if his dam couldn’t run her way out of a paper bag. Whereas if you take the same foals but they’re from the same mare (with massively different quality sires), you’re more likely to see similarities as there’s a smaller range of quality to work from (i.e. the mare, as all FF studs are guaranteed to be stakes-quality themselves to get to studship).
derp, I think I knew that, just forgot. I’ll remember for next time, promise! I’ve edited my post
It’s cool just wanted to clarify in case anyone read it and was confused. (Not to diminish AOH’s achievements, which are many.)
Im hoping he will follow in his big bros’ hoofprints, and Im hoping Drummy will get his last 40 points for FFCh-dom before next year.
I definitely have a girl or two for Drum Major! (But you already knew that). Depending on his fee, I’d definitely send someone or two for Changeling as well.
I have been waiting for Drum Major! I’m sure I have an ICh or two for him…
As for me, To Die For will head to the shed.
Drum Major’s definitely on my list of ponies to breed to. I’ll have to check out some of these other studs that have managed to fly under my radar.
Just some more info on my new boy…

Quite a versitle runner. Seems to prefer dirt around six to nine furlongs. Has great lines - was purpose bred for the Seattle Slew / Cigar cross. Two strong granddams add to his appeal. I’m leaning towards him being the cheapest of my four stallions at $7,500 (the other three won’t change).
We have two confirmed new sires for 2017:-
[color=blue]NCh Lucky Streak - 4 rn.c - Rahy x Wild Streak (Highland Rogue)

[color=blue]GCh In The Navy - 5 gr.h - Man O’War x Dayatthebeach (Sir Lancelot)
33(18)=10(7)-7(3)-5(2)-4(2) $2,243,250 329 pts)
Stakes wins include:-
G1:- 2016:- Bailey’s Irish Champion Stakes, International Stakes, Ranvet Stakes & Tattersalls Gold Cup
In addition to these, we have three others who are either one or two SW’s away from being Stud-qualified.
There is one horse that looks stud-qualified, but his owner went inactive: [color=blue]GCh. Edinburgh. The owner’s last login was on 11/11/15. Will he join the FF owned studs if the owner doesn’t come back?
If/when his owner leaves the game, yes. (I still need to write a script to handle that in the rewrite.)
Soooo many studs I’d love to breed to, especially To Die For and In the Navy!
Oooh, I have a mare from In The Navy’s female family that I’d love to send to him, =D
Any ideas on stud fees for the new boys please?
Not planning on retiring Von Lichtenstein just yet. Another year for him and then likely a retirement in 2018.
Pooh. I was lining up some mares for him. Let us know if you change your mind.
