This is our first foal crop in FF and most of the mares were bought in foal. We do have some home breds coming in June I think, but our first foal is on the ground today.

Foal watch was quite sad today. Our Ring of Fire daughter was due today and right on time, she went into labor early in the evening and after several hours the vet was called. With the vet’s help Kissy delivered her first foal. Sadly the foal was weak and passed shortly after birth.
We lost a filly By Frankel, a big filly we were looking forward to this foal.
Kissy is doing fine and with some pasture rest will visit Lord Nelson for her 2020 foal.
