Once again, it seems that a great time was had by all in the Annual Select Auction, myself included. Below I’ve listed some points that may be of interest about the Auction. Hope you enjoy!
109 Horses Sold for $37,661,500 for an Average of $345,518
42 Stables Purchased Horses
The Sale Stopper was Racehorse Striking Beauty. She sold for $3,700,000 to Suffolk Stables.
Suffolk Stables also paid $2,500,000 for weanling colt Seattle Dancer. The third highest payment of $2,100,500 was for broodmare Goddess of Luck, bought by Cirque Du Soleil Stables. Congratulations to all on the high priced acquisitions.
On the other end of the spectrum there were 28 horses who sold for less than $100,000. They found new homes in 19 different stables. Congratulations to Shadow Creek Stables when they picked up the gelded son of Crimson Lad, Reverie, for $30,000.
