Well all good things must come to an end & FFCh. Loveofthegame has run his last race after I decided to retire the rising 10 year old. Try as I might I couldn’t crack a win this season.
He’s been far and away my greatest runner, even better that I brought him through the sales page on a hunch of something I spotted in his form. At the time he’d had 33 starts for 6 wins, 1 2nd & 1 3rd.
He went on to finish with 105 starts (73 in Stakes races) 41 wins (35SW) 13 2nds & 9 3rds only once racing for me outside of stakes grade (& got beat!) & $12,989,700 in PM
