Fellow stallion addicts....

So, I was roaming around on the internet (bored at work)… and I found a nifty part of the video section on Bloodhorse.com

Check it out! Click on the tab that says “2008 Stallions” or something… There are several that are beautiful animals… I would highly suggest After Market…  I think he’s gorgeous for a Storm Cat, and I think Will Farish is on to something (he’s bred similarly to Giant’s Causeway, but outwardly, is a much more balanced horse…)  Purim is another interesting one to watch, as he’s the probably one of the only Dynaformer stallions standing (and he’s much MUCH prettier than Big “D”).  I’m a little disappointed with Invasor and Jazil… they both look very young, immature and simply not ‘stallion-y’, I guess.  I’d be interested to see what they’re kids look like… Master Command is nice, but WHOA, Quarter-Horsey!

Also, perhaps this is the dressage-queen coming out in me… but does anyone else notice that many of these guys are a little ‘hock-y’ at the walk?
(i.e. Istan (granted, it is snowing in the video…))

Let me know what you think… I’m curious…
And, who would you DIE to cross with them (if you had all the $$ in the world, clearly…)

I always liked Sun King but then again, I was a big fan of his daddy when he was racing and so heart broken that he broke his leg in the Belmont.  Was hoping one of his foals before he left for Japan would do well and I like Sun King’s look.  Not too big and he’s well-put-together.  Looking forward when I see his first foals hit the track.

I’m in love with Hat Trick and Master Command, but you cannot ignore Jazil’s fantastic female family. Well, then again you can’t ignore Master Command’s either although it’s not as good at producing stallions.

Oh yeah, and Purim is one fine Dynaformer. I hope he succeeds. I also love Hard Spun and Any Given Saturday. Very hardy horses with lovely pedigrees.

I love After Market, and Hard Spun is always a favorite too.
