This shows all the horses your horse could run in, as well as their rank. Horses are ranked by # of stakes wins, # of stakes places (seconds or thirds), # of allowance wins, and then points.
Hovering over the race name or the “i” icon will show you the requirements for that race (age, gender if applicable, surface, distance if applicable).
You can see all the qualifiers for a given race via the Race Schedules page > Actions > Breeders’ Cup Qualifiers
Clicking on a given race will expand and show all the qualified + nominated horses (note that it doesn’t care who owns the horse, so I still need to separate out the FF-owned horses).
You can see that it shows horses who are tied by record. I haven’t fully decided how I’m going to handle ties when I lock down the top 20 eligible for entry (which would be before entries open - probably 1 week out). I’m thinking it’ll tie-break by # of starts (fewer being better), and after that pick random horses.
You can see your horse’s ranking even if they’re not nominated, or if they have a late nomination for next year onward. (As mentioned above, nominations are not built yet so you can’t do a late or supplemental nomination.)
Stud nominations are live, though I think only @Andy will care as the deadline for existing studs was back in February (unless I missed another retirement-to-stud lately).
You can see that your stud is/is not nominated on their Bookings page
To nominate, go to the Nominations tab and click Nominate and confirm
Supplemental nomination is live (which I think finishes off Breeders’ Cup stuff).
Next to each race where a horse has a ranking, you’ll see the Supplement button. I’ve adjusted the fee to be 5% of the purse, so you essentially pay the entry fee twice, rather than almost 3x.
Once you’ve submitted a supplemental nomination, it will show next to the given race, and you won’t have the option to do any other supplemental nominations. Also, your horse will show up on the qualification list.
