Famous Stallions 2022?

Are we going to vote in/out famous stallions for 2022?

I’m also okay with waiving this off for the year but it’s always fun.  ;D

I’d love to throw Uncle Mo back into the mix.

Also, Union Rags.  He does have Mr. Prospector 3 generations back, so he might not be an option.  He won the Champagne at 2, then the Belmont at 3.

If Unbridled wasn’t listed in roughly 200 pedigrees, I’d be begging for Shackleford. Siiiigh.

I would like to put up this hunk of horse flesh for consideration… Golden Horn

I saw him in the Breeder’s Cup Turf in 2015 where he was beaten by a beast of a mare, Found. (UH Can we start getting real life broodmares in the game somehow LOLOL) He was just such a hunk, and a great turf horse (I LOVE the European turf horses <3 <3 When will the US learn?!). In 2015, Golden Horn was named Cartier Champion Three-year-old Colt and Cartier Horse of the Year.

In 2015…
Winner of
Epsom Derby (G1), 12f, Turf
Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (G1), 12f, Turf
Irish Champion Stakes (G1), 10f, Turf
Eclipse Stakes (G1), 10f, Turf
Dante Stakes (G2), 10½f, Turf
Feilden Stakes, 9f, Turf

2nd in
Juddmonte International S (G1), 10½f, Turf
Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1), 12f, Turf

He does have Danzig 3 generations back, but pretty new pedigree otherwise.

He’s a gorgeous horse.
He’s by Cape Cross - same sire as Sea The Stars. In the past, I think we’ve had
to choose one or the other if there’s horses by the same sire. I think he’d be a
nice addition to the game though.

Haha I wouldn’t want a Zenyatta as a broodmare! But I do hope that one of her foals will win a race eventually

I don’t think they would count as being closely related/same sire since Cape Cross isn’t in the game. I’m pretty sure we just can’t have RL stallions with similar in-game lines (Smart Strike, A.P. Indy, Sunday Silence, Mr. Prospector, etc.). Cape Cross isn’t in the game so Golden Horn’s pedigree would be pure “create” just like Sea the Stars.

Yep - since none of his parents/grandparents are in the game, he counts as coming from magical imaginary bloodlines.

I would love to bring in Golden Horn!

I would also like to bring up Australian HotY, Dissident
2015 Horse of the Year, 2015 Sprint Champion, 2015 Older Horse Champion
By Sebring (More Than Ready x Purespeed, by Flying Spur) out of Diana’s Secret (Anabaa x Palace Scandal). The closest FF horse in his pedigree is Danehill (4th gen).

Race record: 21 starts, 7-5-3 - A$2,021,200
1st: Memsie S (G1,1400m), Makybe Diva S (G1,1600m), Randwick Guineas (G1,1600m), C.F. Orr S (G1,1400m), All Aged S (G1,1400m), Hobartville S (G2,1400m)
2nd: Golden Rose S (G1), Invitation S (G1), Run to the Rose (G3)
3rd: Futurity S (G1), MVRC Australia S (G2), Blue Diamond Prelude S (G3)

First crop was born in 2016.

Hey Shanthi, I know we’re nearing the holidays so everyone is CRAZY BUSY (I know my workload has exploded, being year-end) but curious if there will be a chance at Famous stallion voting for 2022?

Would LOVE to see Summer Bird on the list (I love him too much lol) and he did only give us 3 racing crops in real life, would love to see some on the game! lol

It must be a horse that is currently at stud in real life, so we can’t have Summer Bird in the game  but yes I’d love a Famous Stallion voting too!

What about Firing Line? He was a very good 2 yo and 3yo in his races and never finished no worse than 2nd in those two years before the Preakness. He had a lot of promise and guts?

I think I only like Gun Runner from this year’s new sires… but he’s by Candy Ride and has Giant’s Causeway as his damsire so I don’t know if we can have him in the game… but I’d probably find a mare for him!

So, for potential voting we’ve got:

Uncle Mo
Union Rags
Golden Horn
Dissident
Firing Line
Gun Runner

Anyone else?

I want to throw out one more with Dubawi, 2002 stallion by Dubai Millennium out of Zomaradah (by Deploy). Only FF relatives is his great-grandfather Mr. Prospector who would not show up in his FF pedigree. On the track he won 5 of 8 starts, including 3 G1’s and specialized in sprint and classic turf (to offset all our classic dirt FF stallions right now).

Right now he has over 13 millionaires, including Postponed (G1 Dubai Sheema Classic, G1 King George VI & Queen Elizabeth S.), Prince Bishop (G1 Dubai World Cup), Monterosso (G1 Dubai World Cup), Lucky Nine (G1 Krisflyer International Sprint), Mubtaahij (G1 Awesome Again S., G2 UAE Derby), Akeed Mofeed (G1 Longines Hong Kong Cup), Al Kazeem (G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup), and more.
