Also, the big event for 2yo’s is coming - Dewhurst Stakes in England. In real life it takes place each October, and last year the winner was Too Darn Hot, a colt bred in England by his owner, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Watership Down Stud. And in Final Furlong the winner was… not Palermo! The 2yo turf champion did not run in Dewhurst Stakes, and Burning Autumn (Krajina) won the race.

Bicton (bred and owned by Lochiedo Stables) wins Dewhurst Stakes. Next big event for 2yo’s is Middle Park Stakes, and for older horses - Eclipse Stakes. Both in England.

Wow! Gilded Glass (Krajina), a 7yo stallion, wins the Eclipse Stakes by 4 1/2 lengths! It is his fourth career race, first race this year, and first stakes.

The winner of Middle Park Stakes is a bit less surprising - Contrary Mary (Darkwood Stables) was already stakes placed and it’s her third race, second win.

Sussex Stakes in England is next.

Charlotte’s Worth (Starfish Stables) wins Sussex Stakes; Kirsch (Generous Bloodstock), the Irish Two Thousand Guineas winner, finished 2nd.
International Stakes in England next! And Cadbury Stakes in Australia soon after.

Ch. Secret Victor (Starfish Stables), the filly that won Dubai Duty Free earlier this year, wins International Stakes. Ch. Northern Secrets (Littlefield), the Cox Plate and Bailey’s Irish Champion Stakes winner, finished 3rd. There was also Knight Enchanter (Black Storm West), who won Coronation Cup in England; this time he finished 6th.

Cadbury Guineas in Australia is coming soon, and currently there are five horses entered; including Ch. High South (Black Storm West), the Two Thousand Guineas winner, and Ch. Kirsch (Generous Bloodstock), who won Irish Two Thousand Guineas earlier this year.

Confucius (Gant’s Farm) wins Cadbury Guineas; and Secretariat Stakes in Arlington is next.

Final Furlong’s Secretariat Stakes is coming, and in real life it will happen tomorrow!

Valid Point (Scat Daddy) won the Secretariat Stakes in his 3rd career run, and Bricks And Mortar (Giant’s Causeway), the Pegasus World Cup Turf winner, won Arlington Million:

In Final Furlong, Arlington Million is next Wednesday.

Ch. Auctioneer (Rainee Thoroughbreds) wins Secretariat Stakes. It’s his third stakes win this year, and second Grade 1.

In Australia, we had Newmarket Handicap on the same day; and the winner is Ch. Ephemeral Scraps (Krajina), a 6yo lightly raced mare. It’s her second start this year.

Arlington Million is next! And Dewhurst Stakes in England, for 2yo’s, tomorrow.

Some famous races news. Ch. Royal Sacred One (Sakura Springs, bred by Starfish Stables), wins Arlington Million. It’s his first stakes win this season, but he scored a speed record earlier this year.

Rosehill Guineas in Australia is next; and two more races in Australia after that (Doncaster Handicap and Queen Elizabeth Stakes).

Next race is also in Australia - the Doncaster Handicap. High South is still boarded there, so maybe he’ll run?

There was a big event for turf 2yo’s recently - the Golden Slipper Stakes in Australia. Last year the winners were Palermo in the game and Estijaab in real life. Both were not as impressive as 3yo’s, although Palermo did win a Grade 3 stakes.

This year, the real life winner is Kiamichi, Australian filly owned by Godolphin:

And Final Furlong’s winner is Ch. Last Highlander (Darkwood Stables). My filly Azhagu finished 2nd, losing by a nose.

5yo Ch. Dark Moon (Marshall Creek Ranch) wins the Doncaster Handicap in Australia, becoming a millionaire. It’s his only race this year! There is another big race in Australia, the Queen Elizabeth Stakes in three weeks.
And then - the Hong Kong Cup! In real life it will be on Sunday, December 8th.
