Why are mares figured into the dosage here? Not that it’s a big deal one way or the other since dosage is a tool and not an absolute. Just wondering 
Because FF doesn’t have millions of horses to work with as a base for calculating dosages, so I figured we may as well go equal-opportunity. There are real life reines-de-course mares, which are (roughly) equivalent to the chef-de-race dosage sires, so I just decided they may as well get dosage indexes too.
