Delta Ro has not been very active in the last couple seasons. Getting back into the breeding end of the game has been a blast and i’m VERY excited to have purchased Akhetnaten from the Emerald Isle. Joining our ranks at the age of 14 he’s a seasoned stallion that knows his job. Though raced exclusively on dirt his offspring race equally well on the Turf. Now standing in Kentucky he has settled into the stallion barn and were very excited to see how he crosses on our mares this season.

Raced lightly as a 2yr old and un-raced at 4 “Blue” didn’t hit his stride until 5 when he got his maiden win that came back to back with his Grade 1 stakes win(over jumps) earning him a shot in the breeding shed. And there is where he has earned his keep. Using a variety of mares he had success as a sire and keeps improving as time goes bye. As always we are excited to see his next crop hit the ground.

Raced exclusively on the dirt Worth the Wait had what it took. By the end of his 3yr season he had bought home over 4 mil in earnings for his owner. Winner of the Derby and the Preakness his just missed being a triple crown winner when Akhetnaten beat him by 1 1/2l in the Belmont and then finished out his 3yr season with a Breeders Cup Classic win. After being raced only 3 times as a 4yr he was retired to the breeding shed.
