Day Break Stable Auction

Just thinning the herd a bit with some great horses.

Ascorbicus is a 4 year old gelding with two speed records. I bought him a a bit overraced and now he’s rested and fit. Unfortunately I don’t have as much time as I thought to figure him out so he’s a great horse for a starting barn with time to dedicate to him.

Dash of Sugar is a 3 year old colt with a solid race record. With the right attention he’s a proven winner and still has lots of time left to go. He’s run in the money in a stakes race this year and under the right circumstances is a great allowance horse.

Loot The Treasury is a 3 year old gelding with not much to his name but he has run in the past and hopefully he’s a late bloomer. He also seems to be a mudder which is trickier to run but he needs more attention then I can give him. Again, he’s a great buy for a newer barn with time to spend on him.

The Fool is a 2 year old colt. Don’t let his size fool you! He really does try on the track and has placed twice in his five starts. I get the feeling he needs a little more time to mature but he’s improving in every race. I’m not eager to let this boy go but when I bought him it was to turn around and sell again when he was on the right track.

The Ways Of Magic is a 4 year old steeplechaser. He’s great over the fences and with the right set up is a very consistent allowance winner. He’s just as consistent in his 4th year as his 3rd and I don’t see any reason why he wouldn’t be just as good in his 5th. I’m just not into the fences and I’m hoping someone with more experience can bring out his potentional.

Smilethroughtears is a yearling filly with created lines. I’m finding my stable is just getting too full of youngsters and next year I’m going to be overwhelmed with two year olds. Great buy for a new stable or even an older stable with more two year old experience.
