Day at the races

Today my sister and I took my soon to be sister-in-law, Sarah (Bluewolf), to Arlington Racetrack.

It was soo fun!

We bet on some horses. I cant bet but I paid my sister to bet for me. We did pretty good. On the 4th race we placed our bets and then went to the paddock to look at them. Spur of the momment we decided to place money on a horse named Don Salomon with 20-1 odds. We really liked the way he looked so we put down a whole five dollars. Anyway we were pretty sure he wouldnt do to well but he won the race and we won almost $100. It was SOO COOL!

I’ve always wanted to go to Arlington but it’s like 8 hours away from me.  That’s really cool that you won $100 dollars though. :slight_smile:

Grrrr! I am jealous!!! lol I bet it was fun! I have never been to a real horse race!
