I created an auction of mostly unbred broodmares and unraced 2yo’s… as I’m returning to the game after a while so I wanted to trim the herd. I think there is quite a lot of nice prospects and interesting bloodlines in there!

I added three horses that ran today to the auction.
Hush Now (2yo, Space Chips) 4th/10 in the Champagne Stakes (Gr. 1)
Ploughman (3yo, Secret Handshake) 5th/10 in the Tulloch Stakes (Gr. 2)
Confidence (3yo, I’m No Fool) 7th/14 in the Beldame Stakes (Gr. 1)
They didn’t win but weren’t terrible! There is a small reserve on each.

The auction of chaos 
has started! While Shanthi is braving the bugs, Ivo The Fickle leads the way with Renegade as the highest bidder of $50,500. They’re also winning the highest bids on two other colts, Lingering Kiss and Little Things. Starfish Stables started the bids on first two, while Tall Oaks Farm was hoping to get the third colt. Two of these colts are by Knicks Go, a real life stallion that has his first crop of 2yo’s running this year.
Fourth of current highest bids is on a broodmare, Ch. Der Blaue Engel. She won two Breeders’ Stakes races as a 2yo.
Among horses with no bids yet, there’s Ch. Fräulein Schläfrig by FFCh. I’m No Fool. She also has Rock of Gibraltar (real life stallion) and Distinct Possibili (silver ranked as a sire and a broodmare sire) in her pedigree.
And there’s Ch. Natalma, by WCh. All Jazzed Up (S) inbred to GCh. Jazz It Up (S). Her 2yo son Bambi, by Talismanic, is also consigned to the auction.

Some horses have already been sold… to me 
but I’m sure that will be fixed soon. The three colts are still leading with highest bids on them. In an hour or so some bids will end, including Ch. Tipping the Velvet - half sister to stud qualified NCh. Cop in Morgue.
There are three horses with no bids at the moment. One is unraced 2yo filly, Open Minded. She is inbred to platinum ranked Highland Rogue, and her great granddam is ICh. Long Shot, a multi-millionaire with many speed records on dirt. Both parents, GCh. Honeydukes and Ch. Azhagu were stakes level turf runners, just like grandsires ICh. Witness with three turf speed records and Frankel, a real life turf specialist.
There are also two broodmares, Ch. Natalma and silver ranked Ch. Argelian, dam to 2yo Berliner by Frankel, who placed in his first race on turf.
