very unfortunate, NCh. Secretary has been retired. :frowning:

Just out of curiosity, what prompts an owner to retire a stallion? Does that keep the value of his existing offspring higher, or does it have to do with time commitments related to approving prospective mares, or…?

The game randomly determines a date when horses retire from breeding and die. An owner can choose to retire a horse beforehand if they want, though.

Sorry to hear that.

I did not retire him the game did, i guess it was his time to be retired from stud. And i dont really know let me ask my mom she knows more about it than i do.

He was retired by the game.  It’s always a bummer to see old studs retire, but that opens up the field for some of the younger boys.  With the changing of the stud requirements, we’ve seen quite the influx of boys last year and in years to come.

I’m sorry to hear he retired, but I’m sure he’s going to have a wonderful retirement.

yes he’s earned his place in green pastures and lots of treats. I wished i had him in real life along with some of my other good horses.

Besides i think his kids will do very well and will become great horses.
