I was leasing a horse called Isla de Muerta and having success with her (last start winner), but she now appears to have disappeared from my stable. Red Oak Farm has requested to cancel the lease but I don’t want to.
Please report this as a bug.
I would report it in the bug section except the damn system won’t accept my log in details thus allowing me to report it. How do I report a bug with the bug reporting system if I cannot log into the system?
In order to report bugs, you need to register with the bug forum and then you can post Bugs.
It is recommended that you use the same login info as you do in ff.
Have tried to register to send bugs, but did not receive an email to confirm my email. Have also tried to change my email address in my profile, but that seems to damn hard too
I simply can’t believe this game–I lease a horse and lrease is cancelled against my wishes–it then appears in the for lease page so I re-lease it again at great expense, I lease another, pay for it to travel across the world and enter it in a race and then the lease is cancelled and i am further out of pocket–I re-lease the horse and then the lease is cancelled again. No point in reporting as a bug as they seem to be totally ignored. >:(
First I just want to say that I think it’s really inappropriate that you are cussing. Shanthi works really hard to keep this game going, and it’s not always going to be perfect, especially right now with the server issues. Everyone has taken a hit at one point or another, whether it was budget or having horses disappear, but if you’re patient and respectful you should be able to work things out.
The bug system can be confusing at first, but if you take the time to read the forum, and ask questions before you throw a hissy fit, then I’m sure people could help you figure it out. I can’t tell from your post if you were able to register under the bug system and report it, but if you do it correctly then it will be taken care of
Plus, its not like you’re paying for this game…there’s the voluntary money put through to support the server but Shanthi puts her time in on a voluntary basis, I thought it was common sense to appreciate someone doing that. Why are you so upset over every little thing? If you’re so unhappy leave, I’ve seen you complaining more than anyone on this forum (not just this post) and have been pretty shocked by your general poor attitude.
Most of all please remember this is a game. Lets keep it fun.
Wow, hi, in case you haven’t noticed FF has been having severe server issues and Shanthi’s been doing her darned best to fix everything. Everyone’s been affected in some way and it’s frustrating but be patient; she’s not superhuman and technology isn’t perfect.
I suggest you take FFT’s advice, and go through the FAQs again. And please, take a chill pill - it’s just a game.
I’ve paid money so if you would like to repay what I paid then I will be happy to leave–as for complaining alot, this is the only issue I have raised
I’m not “ignoring” your issue. A few points:
- Game-wide issues take first priority (i.e. the site won’t load at all, which has happened a few times recently thanks to the server snafus)
- Major bugs get priority over minor bugs. Both of your bugs are listed (correctly) as minor.
- My “goal” is to fix a bug a day. Usually this means I fix 3 or 4 bugs in a weekend and 0 or 1 on weekdays.
I do appreciate your issue, and your donation. I do plan to fix the problem, but until I have sufficient time (probably 1-2 hours) to delve into it and figure out exactly what is going wrong (hopefully this weekend, as I’m working/spending my evenings with my real horse), I will focus on quicker bugs to fix…something I can knock out during the spare time of my lunch break.
Also, just because the owner requests to end the lease, you do not have to agree to do so. According to the database records, you agreed to end all the leases you’re complaining about. If both parties do not agree to end the lease, the lease is still active.
(Not to mention you did get refunds for all the leases, so yes, you’re out of money for the shipping expenses, but the leases themselves did not cost you much.)
