Seems to be going around this year. My mare Grey Pearl is only 8 and was just retired. I believe the retirement age is 10+?
I’ve looked through the code (again) and can’t see where these retirements are being triggered.
I’ve un-retired her and fixed her retirement date, let me know if she needs any special handling re: breeding for this year.

This happened to me this year, I read the FAQ’s and it says broodmares retire from ages 15-25. My mare retired at 14. Elven Star
Major Leap horse=30554 was only 7 when she retired this year and only had one foal. Could she be reinstated?
Both are fixed. @Wolfhound I have no idea what happened to Major Leap as her retirement date in the db hasn’t been reached.
