I just bought Hollywood Hopes and she had a due date of 12/31/12. Though her “home” page says she is in foal…her “foal” page does not show her as in foal as my other broodmares foal pages do. Also on Nightfights stallion foal page it does not show her as expecting because her name is not on his list…my question is…
Does this mean she lost her foal or is this just because of her 2012 due date?
As usual, more info is helpful, such as ID, stud she was sent to, etc. I can look it up, obviously, but I’m more likely to look into this if I don’t have to take the time to look up extra info.
Hollywood Hopes (594) was bred to Nightfight (1213) = due date: 12/31/12. I was just worried cause she isn’t on Nightfights upcoming foals page, and on her foal page it doesn’t show her as being “in foal”. But it does say “Next foal: In foal to Nightfight, due 12/31/12”. Didn’t know if it was cause the due date was in 2012 or some other factor. Probably not a big issue because i am aware of the cushion before and after due dates, it was just the whole “foal page” absence that got me worried. Thank you. 
There is a foal in the database for 2013. You’ll have to wait for it to be born. Not sure what’s up with the upcoming foal thing, though, I’ll try and look at it soon.
Oh, awesome. Yeah it’s probably just one of those quarky things with the years and whatnot…or not…lol…whatever it is though thank you heaps for looking into it.

I am trying to make my breeding plans for my mares for this year and am getting a strange message for one of them, Rein Of The Tiger.
I was doing Hypothetical Matings for her with my two stallions, Magic Glory and Major’s Flight. The message I keep getting is “The mare you submitted was not found!” (I have also tried her with outside stallions and get the same message).
I have displayed her info and it shows her status as Broodmare, so I’m not sure what it means.
I have been able to make a booking for her to be bred, however, so the problem only seems to be related to the Hypothetical Matings page.
It also doesn’t seem to be a problem for any of my other broodmares, just her.
Her name had a space at the end of it, so it was trying to match "Rein Of The Tiger ", not “Rein Of The Tiger”. It’s been fixed.

It wasn’t a critical issue but I just wanted to make sure that Rein of the Tiger wasn’t closely related to either of my two stallions so as to cause potential in-breeding problems. I was able to get around it by pulling up each stallions breeding info in separate tabs (I use Firefox which allows you to have multiple tabs open at the same time) and then pulling up her info on another tab and then switch back and forth between the three tabs.

A breeding question unrelated to the above problem (just for my further FF education):-
If you book a mare to a stallion for a specific breeding date in the future and that date is confirmed, if you then click on the “Breed This Foal” button, does that “breed” the mare on the date you selected or the date you actually hit the button? The reason I’m asking is that I have a mare, Chrome It, that I had set up to be bred to Major’s Flight on Feb 21st. I went in to try and change the breeding date and hit the “Breed This Foal” button by mistake and it now shows her as due on Jan 2nd, 2014. That is not a problem and the due date is about what I would expect if she were bred on Feb 21st. I know that you have said in the past that breeding starts on Feb 15th, so I am assuming that the actual “breed date” for her will be the date selected (Feb 21st) and not yesterday.
Once you hit the Breed This Foal button… the mare will automatically be bred on the date you selected… not on the date you hit the button… the only thing that will change that breeding date is if the stallion is retired or deceased before the actual breeding date…
