**Not sure if this is a bug or just an ooppss **
I purchased Etched Silver at the July auction as a broodmare. She is listed as a broodmare but only has 4 races. She is still in my racing list and I could not breed her when I bought her nor can I race her.
What needs to be done here?
So, I tried to look at what you were talking about just out of curiosity. Etched Silver doesn’t show up in the horse search, and your link redirects to a weanling filly named Ebony Black? Super weird.
I noticed the same thing, so I did an FF search and there are no horses by the name Etched Silver, but I did find this mare Etched Sunshine . I think this is the mare in question. She is 7yo but only raced 4 times.
That makes so much more sense. It looks like FF retired her to broodmare, so maybe the script can do that when players can’t? Am curious to see what Shanthi says about it.
I think FF horses (racers) automatically retire at 7. I’m sure there was a thread about it but of course can’t find it now. I think they retire regardless of number of runs.

That’s correct. FF auto-retires mares at age 7 (and stallions, I think, if they’re qualified). Geldings it allows to run until age 10.
You should be able to breed her next year when breeding season starts.
