We have two qualified horses but neither are likely to run. High Expectations frees up a space in the Filly and Mare Turf and Quarren frees up a space in both the Turf and Turf Sprint (he’s also a reserve for the Mile). Hope that helps people with their planning :slight_smile:

I was hoping to have some older horses in the BC, but both of my hopefuls - [color=blue]NCh. Al Mundhir and [color=red]GCh. Embellished - don’t seem to run well enough recently. Same for [color=red]Ch. Iyaiyai, who shined as a 2yo but lost it in her 3rd year; I’m hoping that she can still do something in the steeplechase sprints on a lower level.

But I’m running 2yo’s [color=blue]Ch. Space Chips and [color=red]Ch. Winter Queen, both on turf, in their respective categories. The filly ran more on dirt recently, including today’s ungraded stakes, but it doesn’t seem to matter much in her case…

Just FYI CDS is planning on entering most of their qualifiers. We are just waiting till Saturday or Sunday to maximize rest and workouts.

I entered mine already as the races started filling up so quickly when entries opened… but now there are still open slots in both so I could have been more patient :wink:
