Second foal for MSP dam, from the same damline as MSW Ch. Knight’s Luck and MSP GCh. Northern Luck. Tattybogle is Scottish for scarecrow, which I thought just sounded cute for a filly. Scottish Brogue will visit Highland Burning for 2023.

At 24 days late, I’m surprised she’s not bigger. Or a colt. Half to SP [color=red]Flaxen Mocha. Because she foaled so late, Miss USA will not be bred for 2023.

The end! At 28 days late, we can finally wrap up the foaling season here at Black Storm. This was our largest crop to date with 86 foals and just 2 stillborn. Unfortunately we did lose broodmares Forever A Queen, Candy Girl, and Untilwemeetyou.

I’m surprised I didn’t get a huge weanling, at almost 4 weeks late! But Black Clouds has been notoriously late almost every year (only once was she less than 2 weeks late), so perhaps being on “her time” is the only acceptable time. Ominous is the fifth foal for his dam and half to MSW [color=red]Ch. Midnight Hour and SP [color=red]Bespeckled. Since she foaled so late, Black Clouds will not be bred for 2023.
