Dawn of Battle Hill is taking a break (possibly temporary, possibly permanent). She’s just had a baby so her time’s a bit occupied these days. 
As she may come back in a few months, not all her horses are being dispersed. The ones that are for sale are in the following auctions:
All of them run from February 28-March 14. No horses currently have reserves, I may have time to add some before this weekend.

[color=red]Broadway Doll - 17.2h black 3yo filly by NCh. Cryptic Ballad, out of Ch. Tres Elegant. My other Cryptic Ballad filly is the totally unsuccessful homebred Doridacea; I should probably let her start jumping, but I wanted her to break her maiden in the flat races before. I guess it’s hopeless but I still like Cryptic Ballad.
[color=red]Ask My Secretary - 15.2h chestnut 3yo filly by NCh. Call To War, out of Ch. Sky Heights (NCh. Lucky Cigar). Her damline traces back to silver ranked Just My Luck, which is also a granddam of our broodmare Bound To Be. So far we have one Frankel colt from her, and her second foal is due this April.
[color=red]Love That Jazz - 16.3h bay 3yo filly by ICh. V is for Victory, out of Lucky In Love (WCh. Secret of Love). She has a really nice pedigree and is unraced like the other two fillies, so they’ll all have some training now. Paid only $1,000 for each.
And also one broodmare:
[color=red]Advance Signal - 16.3h light grey 14yo created mare, silver ranked. She’s the dam of Ch. Love Signal, one of the first horses raced by Clicker Lab to the stakes level. We now have two fillies from Love Signal and her third foal should be born soon. Advance Signal is in foal to ICh. Unabridged, due 4/5/19. Can’t wait!
I purchased her for only $8,500 and I’m very happy to have the old lady here; with her daughter and two granddaughters, the line will live on for sure.
We’ve picked up four. Probably four more than we need but hey.
[color=red]Lady Deca is an unplaced 4yo. She had two starts at 2, unraced last year. She’s by Octagonal who’s quite a nice sire, out of Lady Bug making her a half-sister to NCh Daredevil Dan.
[color=red]Sun Worshiper is an unraced 3yo by Black Warrior out of Jade Sun whose only other runner to date is MW, MP.
Also picked up [color=red]Ch Waikikamukau, a SW, MSP daughter of Go For Dash. We don’t have anything by him and an early covering to Black Cherry added to her appeal.
Last in was [color=red]Sugarfoot, a weanling daughter of Sea The Stars out of Mountain Squall, a winning half-sister to GCh Highland Sorcerer and Ch Dark Mark.

[color=red]Candy Hearts (Candy Ride x Blazin’ Hearts(G)) - Candy Hearts is yearling who is 1/2 to GCh. Attheheartofitall and my own stallion GCh. Ace Of Hearts. Obviously I had to have her! Picked her up for $163,500
[color=blue]Gunning For Glory (ICh. Gunningdownromance (S) x Ch. Calypso (G)) - a weanling with some fabulous bloodlines. He is 1/2 to GCh. Temptation, NCh. Unfaltering, GCh. Naiad and one of my own up-and-coming MSW fillies Ch. Firey Dancer. NO IDEA how I got him so cheap at $10,500! Such a steal

Shanthi - I was thinking of changing [color=blue]Prince Of Tides name to [color=blue]Prince O’Scots, however, I noticed that there is a 2yo filly named [color=red]Princess O’Scots. Would you accept that or do you think the names are too similar (I do have a couple of alternative names in reserve, just in case you say no)?

Would Prince of Scotland be more acceptable?

I have also changed [color=red]Morning Whispers name to [color=red]Ghostly Gift. I wanted to change it to [color=blue]Casper the Ghost until it clicked to me that she was a filly.
Went in with my eye on 3 and walked out with 5. 
[color=red]Little Indy, 3yo filly by A.P. Indy out of Little Rock, by Who Says. One of my top picks, she just ran 3rd in a Maiden last month so I know with some work she could be a very nice runner. Paid 6k.
[color=green]Jar of Hearts, 4yo gelding by ICh. Ring of Fire out of Ch. Songbird, by a create sire out of gold-ranked Heartsong. I’m a sucker for geldings since they tend to be my best runners and he looked like a nice project. Last year he hit the board 4 of 5 times. He’s half to MSW GCh. Pennyisacutie. Paid 1k.
[color=red]Last Burn, 4yo mare by Ch. Turn n’Burn out of Ch. Countersuit, by False Promises. Mostly picked up as a project and future broodmare prospect. She’s only raced twice with her sole board placing being a 3rd last October. False Promises is gold-ranked as a broodmare sire, and Countersuit is half to MSW Ch. In the Library and silver-ranked Lucky Strikes. Paid 1k.
[color=blue]Tros, weanling colt by ICh. V is for Victory out of Darkfall, by Danzig. I wanted Tros, his dam, or both, and settled with Tros in the end. I have no Danzig in my herd. Darkfall is half to No Telling (G) and MSW Ch. Sunless Seattle, and her damsire is gold-ranked broodmare sire Seattle Slew. With Danzig, Seattle Slew, Dark Victory, and Jazz It Up all fairly close in his pedigree - and him already standing a whopping 10hh – I’m hoping he’ll become one heck of a runner. Paid 1k.
I’ve been really trying to down size but I just couldn’t let this colt go at such a cheap price!!
We brought home a yearling colt named [color=blue]Black Sails. (NCh. Dark Demand (B) X Ch. Set Sail (S))
He is half to my 9.5 Gold rated broodmare NCh. Set The Sails. So happy to have snagged him for $1,000!
