Tomorrow at Saratoga I believe sees the American racing debut of champion Australian mare Alinghi. Will be interesting to see how she does. She’s running further than normal as she was always run in sprints here. Does anyone know anything about how she is going over there? Aparently the field for the Gr.3 race is pretty hot.
Please, /please/ do not repost articles, etc, without at least including the original copyright! You could get Shanthi into a lot of trouble. What you should really do is just post the URL of the original…that’s always considered acceptable.
Teri’s right. Plus, it takes up way less space to post a link rather than an entire article. Anyone who’s interested in reading about the article can click on it and see it in its full glory.
Alinghi wins

Race Summary:
ALINGHI (AUS) was unhurried early on, advanced inside into the stretch turn, rallied four wide approaching the stretch, ran by the leaders leaving the eighth pole and drew clear under a drive.
Looks like a nice Filly!
AUSSIE! AUSSIE! AUSSIE! OI! OI! OI!
Watched the reply on the NTRA site. She’s a fantastic mare. To win by a length after being at one stage ten off the leaders shows she was really just toying with the field. She’ll win Gr.1 races over there guys!
I’m so proud of her!
I think she’ll win G1’s over here too. Looked very nice.
