OK, this seems to be a growing trend to auction off half a dozen geldings.
They’re geldings…thus, they have very limited value (i.e. what they can make on the track). Given this, their price is very easily determined, and there’s no reason to auction them.
Auctions take up much more database space/effort than just selling your horse. Plus, they take longer, so the horse sits around doing nothing for more time.
If you have geldings to sell, just sell them…don’t create an “auction” of a dozen geldings just so that you can be all excited that you have an auction.
