Oh yeah, and Drew…it’s not really any of my business (I made the same mistake myself once), but I believe 2 of your 5 handicapping days are invalid (4/4 & 4/7) because your picks have to be posted on the forum before midnight Eastern Standard Time. Granted, maybe I’m reading the time of posting wrong, but it looks like those two are a good hour & a half past that time, and if so, it means you can’t get money for it. It sucks, but I guess you do still get to see how right/wrong you guessed so you can do even better in the future. I hope you don’t think I’m being a jerk because I’m really not meaning to be - I just didn’t know if you were aware. 
It’s all good, no hard feelings. When I read the rules the first time I just remembered the picks had to be in by midnight. Reading them again I see that it is midnight EST not PST. O’well, live and learn. So here is my revision to my April Handicapping.

I know, it sucks. You don’t know how many times I’ve started working on them & then walked away from the computer, never getting a chance to finish & submit by midnight. I do it all the time…including last night. 
That money sure could have come in handy!
You can always just post your picks as you arrive at them and edit the posts as you go. That way you have a chance at getting something. That’s what I would do when I was trying to do them at work (I know, I’m bad. )
Hrm. I thought of that, but then I wasn’t sure if we were technically supposed to since you could, in theory, keep working on them past the due date. But then, that would show up as “modified at X time”, wouldn’t it? If so, I’m a dummy for not doing it sooner! 
you can modifiy your post up to the closing time… sometimes horses get scratched befor the handicapping closes… so I go in and change my picks for that race it one was the horse that scratched…
Good point - I’ve never noticed (or checked) horses being scratched. Hrm.
I’ll definitely have to start keeping that in mind!

Payment is generally made in the middle of the next month, to give people time to submit their totals (and to allow me to do it all at once).
Just as a side note, reminders work better via PM, since I pretty much never read/check the handicapping threads.
