9/14

Pretty good day with 3 more winners (including 2 SW) and 2 2yo winners.

11(6)-3(2)-2(2)-2(1)-1(1) $283,950

[color=blue]Holy Warrior, (2yo, NCh. Black Warrior x In Thy Name) 1/10 in the G2 Todman Slipper Trial in Australia. His 2nd win, both SW.
[color=red]Magic Spitfire, (2yo, ICh. Magic Glory x Blackout) 1/10 in an NW3 at Arlington.

[color=red]Ch. Beautiful Rumor, (4yo, Ch. Rumor Has It x Sunset Beauty) 3/11 in the G3 Noble Damsel Stakes at Belmont.
[color=blue]Ch. Major’s Insight, (6yo, GCh. Major’s Flight x Highland Sage) 3/11 in a Claimer at Belmont.

Fourths
[color=blue]Ch. Take Flight, (5yo, GCh. Major’s Flight x Foxfire) 4/10 in the Ung Ashley T. Cole Stakes at Belmont.

Also Ran
[color=red]G.Ch. Boundless Train, (4yo, WCh. Strike It Rich x By Honor Bound) 5/7 in an OA at Arlington.
[color=red]Debatable Love, (2yo, GCh. Major’s Flight x Wavering Love) 6/10 in an NW3 at Arlington.
[color=red]Exquisite, (5yo, Easy Goer x Hail to Beauty) 11/11 in a Claimer at Belmont.

I finally entered a decent number, though most were out of shape after over a month at the farm. Still, it was a good day overall:

14(4) - 4 - 3(1) - 3(1) - 2(1)

WINS

[color=red]Ch. Always Ladylike (4yo, Giant’s Causeway) won her OA because there wasn’t a suitable stakes race for this MSW.

[color=red]Ch. Foxy Ruby (6yo, Gallant Fox) won her OA, finally! This earned her champion title, a goal I wanted her to reach before motherhood (though she was still going to join our brood band due to her gold rated dam). She will be retiring this spring.

[color=red]Art of Love (2yo, High On Love) won, breaking her maiden finally. Apparently the new equipment helped.

[color=red]Worth A Treasure (3yo, Worth My While) won her OA, setting her second speed record as well. I need to get her into more stakes. She’s undefeated this year.

PLACES

[color=red]Spin The Bottle (2yo, The Fighting Fifty) was second in her NW1, her second start.

[color=blue]Vive le Roi (2yo, Long Live the King) was second in his NW1, which was also his second start.

[color=blue]Ch. Allinvain (4yo, Worth My While) was second in the ungraded Ashley T. Cole Stakes.

SHOWS

[color=red]Allnighter II (2yo, All Jazzed Up) was third in her NW3.

[color=red]Ch. Girlfight (4yo, Nightfight) was third in her OA.

[color=red]Ch. Mimic (3yo, I’m Your Angel) was third in the G2 Phar Lap Stakes.

FOURTHS

[color=red]Get Shorty (6yo, Planet Hollywood) was fourth in her starter allowance, but I bought her as a brood prospect not as a runner due to her age.

[color=red]Brianza (2yo, Bellagio) was fourth in the G2 Reisling Slipper Trial.

OFF THE BOARD

Talkofthetown (3yo, Rumor Has It) was 5th in her OA.
GCh. Afterglow (5yo, Affirmed) seems to be less interested in winning, finishing 9th in the G3 Noble Damsel Stakes. The goal is to get her final 3 points to NCh. Title, then probably retire her in the spring.

Only low class entries, but always happy about good results.

4yo [color=red]Ellejolet won a steeplechase claimer, her first win this year. Stays with us.

2yo [color=red]Hermelinda finished 2nd/9 in a maiden for fillies.

2yo [color=blue]Peter Pan finished 2nd/7 in a NW2.

Aside from our stakes entries, pretty decent day (especially as we sent out some ponies who’d had quite a lazy summer!)

10(2)-2-1-1-3 $44,850

WINS:
[color=blue]Light It Up (2yo, Rahy) in a NW1, breaking his maiden.

[color=red]Tinker Bell (2yo, TakeMeToHollywood) in a NW2.
