We have another horse in a similar position, [color=blue]NCh. Gaudy Night , who is a year younger but also only needs one more SW . Unlike [color=blue]Bracton, [color=blue]Gaudy Night has shown a little recent form this year, including winning the G1 Grand National for the second time, so we are still hopeful for him.

Sorry to see him go. He got to 6 SW, etc as a 3YO but I just couldn’t get him to get the last SW he needed to become Stud-Qualified. Finally decided to sell him in the hopes that he might have an uptake in form in new surroundings. Hopefully [color=blue]Gaudy Night makes it! Bracton has not earned a dime or even hit the board in years so I felt it was finally time to throw in the towel. I am still hopeful for [color=blue]Clowning Around though, who just needs a SW of any grade. At least he’s 6 and has hit the board this year (albeit in an allowance). Hoping a very long rest until the Breeders’ Series this winter will be enough.
