Disappointing day, with less than 50% of our runners finishing On The Board. At least we had the consolation of very good performances by a couple of our 2YO’s.

Pretty amazing day here - I think my ponies are just happy to finally be doing something besides workouts…  Everyone brought a paycheck.

[color=red]Love And Honor (2yo, Clockstopper x On My Honor) won her NW1 for a record of 3 (2-0-0).

[color=red]Magic Feather (4yo, Must Be Magic x Long Shot) won her OA, setting her first speed record.  She’s undefeated since our purchase last September.

[color=red]Claire de Lune (5yo, Highland Laird x Perchance To Dream) won her OA.  She is also undefeated since our purchase in March.

[color=red]Do Or Die (2yo, Gunningdownromance x Don’t Let Go) won her NW2, setting her first speed record.  That’s a nice surprise!  I think she’s my first 2yo to set a record this year.

[color=red]Cell Block Tango (3yo, Witness x Lucked Out) won her NW3.  She’s turning into a real contender.

[color=blue]Love Never Dies (3yo, V is for Victory x Forever Gone) won his NW3.  He’s never been out of the top three since his purchase last December.

[color=red]Demurely (3yo, Highland Magic x Grama’s Prize) won her starter allowance.

[color=red]GCh. D’lightful (5yo, High Chances x D’licious) won the ungraded Arlington Sprint - her fifth stakes win from 5 starts this year.  This girl is on FIRE!

[color=blue]Ch. Copycat (3yo, Mr. Prospective x Slew Copy) won the G2 Del Mar Derby, for a record this year of 7 (3-3-0), all in stakes races.  He also set his second speed record.

[color=red]GCh. Coquette (4yo, Bellagio x Klondike Nights) won the G2 Palomar Handicap, proving she’s still got it…

[color=red]Ch. Singsong (5yo, Rahy x Keria Toon) won the G3 Bunbury Cup against the boys down in AUS.

PLACES

[color=red]Hummingbird (2yo, Doodles x Bravodora) finished second in her maiden - her first ever start.

FOURTHS

[color=blue]Extol (2yo, What’s Debatable x Highland Treasure) finished 4th in his NW1 - still a maiden.

[color=blue]Ch. Laevateinn (3yo, Sleipnir x Dixie Love) finished fourth in the G1 Forego Stakes - but it was a pretty close race!

Happy day for us, with five out and four OTB finishes.

Wish I listened to my guts for the past two years but better late than never, I guess. Finally got fed up with [color=red]U.R. A Shinin Star and threw her into a 7f SC NW2… and she won with a nice 125 SF. Why the @#$!!IU^# didn’t I put her over the hurdles sooner is beyond me.

[color=blue]Indygo Symphony fell a quarter-length short of becoming our first homebred stakes winner, placing in the 5.5 Gr. 3 Kindergarden Stakes for 2YOs on dirt Down Under. I’m just glad to know his earlier wins weren’t a fluke after all.

[color=blue]Little Lion Man showed in a 5.5f dirt allowance for 4YO+, as did [color=red]Song of Songs in a 6f turf NW3 for 2YOs. First time she hit the board, so I’m going to assume the equipment change did the trick.

[color=red]Nyota Uhura ran off the board in a 7f turf NW1 for 2YOs.
